Superstar Nelly Hosts Las Vegas Celebrity Weekend Event at Red Rock Resort

Inviting just a few hundred lucky contest winners, fans and close friends, Derrty Entertainment/Universal Motown's superstar NELLY hosts a weekend-long event at Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas. The affair will preview Nelly's long awaited studio album Brass Knuckles.
The Las Vegas celebrity weekend takes place June 6th - 8th at the Red Rock Resort. Planned events include a VIP dinner, an evening of bowling inside Red Rock Lanes VIP bowling suite with radio contest winners, a press conference, an intimate live concert performance by Nelly inside Rocks Lounge, and an exclusive party at CHERRY nightclub.
News Image "Party People," the album's debut single featuring Fergie, and produced by Polow Da Don (Fergie, Ludacris, Usher), has bulleted into the Top 20 Rhythmic-Crossover radio format. The seethingly energized music video, directed by Marc Webb with signature imagery from the film musical Moulin Rouge, is in rotation on MTV and BET, and has generated over 2 million streams on youtube.com.
BRASS KNUCKLES, Nelly's first full album of new songs in four years is scheduled for release on August 19, 2008. On this fifth studio album, he's joined by top-notch producers and recording artists- Jermaine Dupri, Pharrell, Akon, Usher, T.I., Babyface, Snoop Dogg, LL Cool J, Ciara, Ashanti and the St. Lunatics.
The three-time Grammy winner and six-time Billboard Award winner has sold over 40 million copies worldwide of his four studio albums. His previous studio project, the unique double release Sweat and Suit, made Nelly the first solo artist in history to make simultaneous album chart entries at No. 1 and No. 2. He starred in the remake of The Longest Yard and was also executive producer of the hit soundtrack album.
Nelly is CEO of the label he founded, Derrty Entertainment, and has launched two successful clothing labels, Apple Bottoms (the No. 2 junior apparel line in the U.S.) and Vokal, as well as the all-natural energy drink Pimp Juice.
